World Musical Instruments
World Musical Instruments Collection consists of several hundred musical instruments mostly from the Far East area. The images are collected from various sources. These include:
- Global Memory Net's own photographs;
- Shanghai Conservatory of Music - Museum for Oriental Musical Instruments, with metadata contributed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University;
- Vietnamese Institute for Musicology
- World Musical Instrument Gallery, with kind permission from Randy Raine-Reusch;
- Etc.
We are grateful to each of the contributors for their contributions. When sounds or videos of the instruments are available, user should be able to hear these by clicking to the proper icons in "Info".
